Hello everyone! I'm Boss from Plastic Model Republic and recently I've started building Plastic Models. I've been thinking about giving them as presents to my friends.
Oh! That's nice! But, if the person has never dealt with a Plastic Model before, it might be confusing to decide what difficulty level of Plastic Model to give them.
That's true. It would be a problem if it's too difficult, and it wouldn't be enjoyable if it's too easy...... Oh! There's a Plastic Model Series with mostly Gundam series which seems to be relatively easy! Let's go with this one!

What is ENTRY GRADE?
ENTRY GRADE is a Plastic Model Series that has been developed since 2020, and is set at a relatively low difficulty level, aiming to be a model that anyone can make.
There may be some difference in difficulty depending on the Plastic Model released, but in general, no adhesive or tools are required. Another characteristic is that it can be enjoyed as a bare assembly without painting. Some models even do not require stickers.
As of now, there are a lot of ENTRY GRADE GUNDAM models. However, BANDAI SPIRITS, the publisher of ENTRY GRADE, also releases Gundam Model Kits (Gunpla), and they release Gundam series that can be built with simple kits as ENTRY GRADE.
In addition to this, they also have lineup from “Dragon Ball”, “Kirby of the Stars”, “Doraemon”, “Detective Conan”, “Ultraman Zero” and others. Therefore, not only Gundam fans, but also fans of famous Japanese anime, manga, and game characters can enjoy building their favorite characters.
As per the concept, it is pre-painted & does not require adhesive & has fewer parts, making it perfect for beginners! As there are many GUNDAM series in ENTRY GRADE, it's perfect as a warm-up before starting with Gundam Model Kits (Gunpla)!
The fact that no tools are needed might be a great point for gifting to beginner friends! The lineup has many characters released and is quite enriched, so if they find Gundam challenging...... I might consider giving them an ENTRY GRADE model of another character!
