Hello everyone. Today we'll be checking out who's who in MEGAMI DEVICE again. I'm Plastic Model Republic's Boss, and I've been realizing just how much a character's impression can change depending on the designer.
What's the matter? I totally agree, though. I'm Plastic Model Republic's Saori. When a famous person designs something, you just have to check it out, right? The character we're introducing today is designed by someone who is not only known in the Plastic Model industry but also in the illustration industry!

What is SOL ROAD RUNNER?

SOL ROAD RUNNER is a character released as part of the 4th installment of MEGAMI DEVICE.
The character design is done by Kuroboshi Kouhaku-Sensei, who also handled the character design for the 3rd installment, SOL HORNET. It's cute.
Released in July 2017, closely following the 3rd installment which was released in June 2017, it was almost like a set sale.
The 3rd installment, HORNET, comes with an optional flight unit, while the 4th installment, ROAD RUNNER, features a wheeled ground mobility unit.
(The part that includes wheels for the feet) Interestingly, combining the parts of these two characters can form a single unit, referred to as 'Full Armor Mode'.
Cool! Starting from the 3rd installment, each character comes with one body and face part, but the option to combine units into a single form is a great gimmick.
Absolutely! The pair have a sister-like vibe that's very cute! Personally, I find ROAD RUNNER's curly hair especially adorable. While many plastic models tend to have straight hairstyles, ROAD RUNNER's slightly wavy hair is cute!
