WISM SOLDIER SNIPE/GRAPPLE is a duo released as part of the second series of the MEGAMI DEVICE series, which has the theme of 'beautiful girls x mechanics'.

The second series of MEGAMI DEVICE, WISM SOLDIER SNIPE/GRAPPLE, was released in January 2017. The first series, Assault/Scout, was released in December 2016, so they became available for purchase almost simultaneously.

Like the first series, the second also comes in a package with two types of face parts and body parts. This means if you want to build both characters at the same time, you'll need to prepare an additional set of body parts.
(By the way, starting with the third series, which will be released later, the specification will change to include only one set of face and body parts in a single package.)

By the way, the acronym 'WISM' in the series name stands for 'woman’s imperial space marines'.
The name has been set by Shimada Fumikane-Sensei, who is responsible for character design, as a mixed-media content title for a 2046 SF movie, anime, and comic set in space.
