On July 24th, unmissable new information was unsealed! Amazingly, it was officially announced that a new Gundam series will be rolling out next year!
【New Gundam】Its name is Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO! A new Gundam series animation is confirmed for 2027 rollout!
“Why is Gundam necessary?” An anticipated work whose story is being constructed by Kenji Kamiyama and Toh EnJoe with an approach different from conventional Gundam works!
In this unsealed information, there are several points that cannot be missed, among which it is revealed that it is an anime work sharing a worldview with “Gundam Rogue Orbit”, forming a part of the new media mix project “RG Project” crossing both works.
(*By the way, at present, whether it is a theatrical anime or a TV series work has not been explicitly stated)
In the story of “Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO” rolling out in 2027, humanity received the blessings of an object called an “interstellar-navigable object”, reaching unprecedented prosperity and expanding its domain across the entire Solar System.
However, less than 10 years after its discovery, this object went out of control, causing an aggressive self-replicating system (Apocalypse) to appear.
After three months of offense and defense against this unknown ecosystem, humanity was forced to abandon Earth, and this year was etched into the records as the first year of A.A. (After Apocalypse).
The stage of the story is A.A. 45, where the protagonist boy “Azumi Rei” wakes up on the lunar surface.
Azumi Rei is a war orphan who lost his parents due to an Apocalypse attack, becoming the exclusive pilot of “Gundam ZERO”. 100 years before the world of the game, what on earth happened, and why was Gundam born? A story approaching its origin.
There must be many people who wonder, “What is Apocalypse?”.
According to official explanations, it is a silicon life form that separated and multiplied from an interstellar-navigable object that flew in from outside the Solar System. The rough story seems to be drawn with this Apocalypse repeatedly attacking humanity, and the existence that fights against it being Gundam...!
Along with this announcement, information on Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO figures and Gunpla was also unsealed! If there are follow-up reports, we will cover them as needed, so everyone please try checking out the latest information on Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO!
