DRAGON BALL is a manga created by Toriyama Akira-Sensei that was serialized in the weekly magazine 'Shonen Jump' from 1984 to 1995. It's a work of incredible recognition not only in Japan but also overseas, with over 300 million copies issued worldwide. The story is a battle fantasy about a mysterious sphere called 'DRAGON BALL' that is said to grant a wish if you collect seven of them. The protagonist, Son Goku, meets various characters and grows through his battles with rivals and villains as he seeks the 'DRAGON BALL'. As the story progresses, the protagonist changes, but the work is still active, with anime and manga still being broadcasted and serialized, even after about 40 years.
