[Fighter aircraft model kits] Beautifully and Freshly Recreate the Aircraft with New Mold Parts!
Sharp Molds and Vivid Included Decals!
AW Meteor NF.12 is Here!

When people hear “plastic model,” many might imagine a large, imposing aircraft. However, this “AW Meteor NF.12” is the complete opposite, at 1/144 scale. Despite being small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, its precise and uncompromising construction shines through. This model, in particular, faithfully recreates the two-seater NF.12, which supported the British Royal Air Force as a night fighter, using new molds. The unique form of this early jet aircraft, which appeared at a turning point in the era and feels both somewhat classical yet futuristic, is splendidly brought back to life through the kit.
One of the excellent points of this Meteor kit is its sharp mold expression. Despite the constraints of the 1/144 scale, there is a realism that can be felt the moment you pick it up, extending to the rivet lines, panel boundaries, and even the curves of the engine nacelles. Furthermore, the inclusion of painting mask seals is noteworthy. This part significantly improves the accuracy of the finish by properly supporting the difficult task of masking the canopy, especially challenging on small-scale aircraft.
The two types of included decals stand out for their printing clarity, injecting personality and history into the assembled aircraft. Not only is the detail of the markings fine, but the color saturation is also excellent, resulting in a finished product that achieves a level of quality seemingly beyond a model. The impression when multiple aircraft are lined up is instantly sharpened, adding depth to a small collection.
While this kit looks great displayed alone, combining it with an airfield diorama is especially recommended. Its light weight and compact size make it appealing because it doesn't overpower the base and harmonizes well with other aircraft and structures. It's perfect for recreating scenes of a British Royal Air Force base right after WWII or the dynamic atmosphere of a night interception, and building up the background expands the model world even further.
