For Gundam fans, the name “Narrative Gundam C Equipment” holds special meaning as a symbol of the untold side of the story.
The “MG 1/100 Narrative Gundam C Equipment Ver.Ka” transforms the essence of that narrative into a hands-on building experience.
The meticulously considered Ver.Ka design brings a level of detail that feels as though the Narrative itself has taken physical form.
Arguably the highlight of this kit is its representation of the Psycho Frame.
The transparent clear parts feature fine detailing on the front, back, and sides, creating a dimensional, deeply textured structure that goes beyond simple light transmission.
Depending on the angle of the light, it reflects like a crystal—an awe-inspiring effect that can only be appreciated in person.
Additionally, a selectable gray Psycho Frame is included to replicate the NT-D inactive state, allowing customization to your preference.
This model goes beyond simple joint articulation, incorporating mechanical gimmicks that aim for realism throughout the structure.
The hip joints move in block units, and deep knee bends trigger fins embedded behind the knees to move in tandem.
These intricate movements add a natural dynamism to the posing.
It also features a mechanism that transforms the Core Block into a bird-like Core Fighter silhouette.
This design satisfies both the mechanical romance and the fun of assembly.
The fact that it shares compatible parts with the MG Unicorn Gundam Ver.Ka also appeals to dedicated fans.
Rather than being self-contained, its design considers interconnectivity with other kits, expanding enjoyment for Gunpla collectors and display enthusiasts.
Arranging the series side by side reveals these “connections,” and assembling each kit deepens immersion in the story.
Though glue-free and snap-fit, the kit boasts extremely high information density upon completion and delivers the satisfying build expected of a Master Grade (MG).
It uses materials like PS, PET, and ABS for strength and clarity, ensuring both durability and detailed beauty.
Although recommended for ages 15 and up, this Narrative—more than a model, a “storytelling kit”—is ideal for anyone who wants to experience the Gundam narrative firsthand.
