【Tank】 – A Unique Variant of the German Panzer IV Type C with Rocket Launcher! The “Raketenwerfer” with Magic Tracks Makes Its Debut!
Hello tank fans and military modelers! Today we’re introducing a tank that’s far from ordinary—just one look and it’ll blow you away.
It’s the “WWII German Panzer IV Self-Propelled Rocket Launcher ‘Raketenwerfer’.” This isn’t your standard Panzer IV—it’s outfitted with a massive rocket launcher on its back!
It’s the “WWII German Panzer IV Self-Propelled Rocket Launcher ‘Raketenwerfer’.” This isn’t your standard Panzer IV—it’s outfitted with a massive rocket launcher on its back!
This model recreates a rare prototype variant of the Panzer IV developed during WWII, equipped with a rocket launcher that never went into mass production—truly a “phantom vehicle” That’s enough to spark the collector spirit in any military fan. The reliable Type C chassis now boasts a rocket launcher instead of a turret. The look alone is strikingly unique!
One of the most exciting aspects of this kit is its rich parts structure. The rocket launcher frame is made with photo-etched parts, delivering both metallic texture and incredible detail for heightened realism. Combined with plastic parts, the detailing really pops and stands out. As you build, you’ll catch yourself grinning, thinking, “This is going to look insane when it’s finished.”
The tracks use the well-known “Magic Track” system beloved by modelers. Each track link is assembled individually, offering great flexibility and outstanding realism. The road wheels are intricately divided into separate parts—rubber, ribs, hubs—making detailed painting easier and enhancing the final result. The suspension is so detailed, it looks like it could start moving at any moment!
At 1/35 scale, it strikes the perfect balance—not too big, not too small—making it easy to build yet impressive when displayed. Measuring 38cm × 24.5cm × 9cm and weighing 827g, it gives you that satisfying “I’m building a real model” feeling when held. Display it on your desk, and it’ll catch your eye every time you look over—a real “wow” piece.
The charm of the Raketenwerfer lies in its rarity and bold, experimental design. It offers a ruggedness and experimental appeal that you won’t find in standard Panzer IVs. With photo-etched parts, magic tracks, and intricate details, it’s packed with elements that modelers will love. This kit is guaranteed to jump from your “someday” list to “next up” on your build queue!
If you're feeling a bit tired of standard tank builds, maybe it’s time to try something different. This “unconventional tank,” the Raketenwerfer, will bring a breath of fresh air to your collection shelf!
