【MEDABOTS】Celebrating the 25th Anniversary! MEDABOTS - This Fascinating Series Captivated Children in the 1990s!
MEDABOTS is the general term for a series of computer games, comics, and anime series that began with the game “MEDABOTS” released by Imagineer Co., Ltd. in 1997. A big event was also held in 2022 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series.
MEDABOTS is a story set in a world where a sport is popular that involves battling robots called “MEDABOTS,” which are less than one meter tall and operate with an object called a “Medal.”
The MEDABOTS have independent personalities and follow the instructions of their masters, aiming to fight and win against other MEDABOTS. In Japan, the anime series, which started broadcasting in 1999, was a huge hit among children, and many people, now adults, buy nostalgic MEDABOTS plastic models.
By the way, the game version released decades ago has been compiled into a complete collection and can now be played on platforms such as the Switch.
