Now, the Plastic Model I'm going to introduce in this article...... Although the real thing is so big that I'm not sure if it can be called anime goods, it's this Plastic Model Series that's cutely decorated with anime characters!
【Ita-Sha】Behold cars decorated with cute anime characters! Japanese anime merchandise takes an unusual form with these plastic models!

Before we explain this series, it seems better to explain about Ita-Sha first, doesn't it?
What is Ita-Sha?
“Ita-Sha” refers to cars that are decorated by affixing stickers that feature characters related to manga, anime, games, etc., or by painting or arranging the car body.
The term “Ita-Sha” comes from a slang term meaning “a car that hurts to look at”, and is derived from the slang expression “painful” to describe shameful actions. However, nowadays it is often made as part of fan interaction among anime and game lovers, and is widely recognized.
Also, Ita-Sha is not regulated under the Road Traffic Law in Japan. However, excessive decoration, illegal modifications, and actions that interfere with other people's driving are illegal, so it's important to follow the traffic rules, paint/arrange, and then drive.

The Plastic Model Series that I'm introducing this time has a size that is about 1/24 of the actual Ita-Sha.
You can assemble Ita-Sha that has been scaled down to 1/24! The parts where anime characters are drawn are stickers, but the body and other parts can be painted to change the coloring!

This Ita-Sha Series basically completes the painting by sticking the included stickers onto the car body! After that, it's just like a regular Plastic Model and all you have to do is assemble it!

I see, so the production time is assembly + sticker application, which takes a bit longer than the assembly of a regular Plastic Model. But since the parts configuration isn't that complicated, it seems to be suitable for beginners to intermediate users.

So! If you're someone who wants a slightly different Plastic Model, please do check out this Ita-Sha Series, a big anime merchandise born out of Japanese culture!
