Hello everyone! I'm Boss from Plastic Model Republic!

Hello everyone~ I'm Saori from Plastic Model Republic!

The Plastic Model I wanted to introduce today is...... somewhat of a nostalgic Plastic Model series!

Nostalgic...... Plastic Model?

Supporting Japanese regions and companies!
What kind of series is CHOTO PLAMO, known for its small and cute construction?

Hehehe, it's cute.

Yes, it's cute. And there's a certain feature to this CHOTO PLAMO series. As for why it's named like this......
What is the CHOTO PLAMO series?
The CHOTO PLAMO series is a plastic model of just a little style, which would have been sold in Japan's “old-fashioned candy stores.”
The number of parts is minimized to make it possible for children to assemble, and the difficulty of assembly is somewhat low. But they aim for a plastic model series that anyone can feel familiar with and enjoy, with a divided design that certainly gives a “plastic model feel.”
The released lineup includes many local characters and mascot characters, raising awareness as part of regional support goods.

I see! Now that you mention it, it certainly has a shape and size that seems like it could be in a candy store!

A candy store is a shop for children that had a lot of very cheap candies and toys, which were plenty in Japan decades ago.
There were so many items that even a child with a little allowance could buy, and I stopped by many times after school to buy candies and goods.

You don't see them as much these days...... It's a bit lonely, but the CHOTO PLAMO series definitely has a form that reminds us of such old scenery.
The production difficulty is super easy!
Some characters require some painting, but they are basically painted, so even children can assemble them easily!

So they are basically painted?

No, some characters may not be painted, so be careful!
The assembly itself is easy, but they say they want you to enjoy the fun of painting! So please try to assemble it as a slightly nostalgic Plastic Model that you can enjoy up to painting!
