Hello everyone~! This time, I'd like to introduce the Figure-rise Standard, a figure brand specialized in humanoid plastic models! It features silhouettes and articulation that thoroughly research and pursue the structure of the human body, along with a series that meticulously recreates the charm of characters from various works. I'm Saori from Plastic Model Republic, and I'm excited to introduce this new release!

To briefly explain the story of Kaiju No. 8, it's about a world where a certain 'monster' is born and attacks the city. The protagonist, Hibino Kafka, dreamed of joining the unit fighting these monsters, but fails the aptitude test and ends up in a unit responsible for disposing of monster corpses. However, one day, his body undergoes a strange change, turning him into a being that is half-monster, half-human!

Yet, he retains his human heart, and continues to eradicate monsters even in his monster form. That is the story of Kaiju No. 8!

The released series is called Figure-rise Standard, which means it's a Plastic Model series specialized in humanoid action. It has quite a number of parts, allowing for enjoyment of subtle changes and discovering new charms depending on how the parts are combined. That's a great aspect!
